Bandai Ultraman Dyna Guts Eagle

Alright, still in Ultraman Vehicle timeline, next are the jets from Ultraman Dyna, called Guts Eagle.  Guts Eagle basically consists of three jets, Alpha Wing, Beta Wing and Gamma Wing.

Guts Eagle

I bought these jets online and in a loose condition, no box available, so, what I show you here is what I got.

Let’s start with Alpha Wing, this delta silver and red jet is mostly metal. The upper part (grey part) of the jet is metal while the lower part (black part) is hard plastic.  The vertical stabilizers (light grey) are soft plastic.  One of the unique thing about the vertical stabilizers are that they move in unison, if u move one of them the other will mirror the movement. Neat trick.  There should also be another feature, in which the cockpit can be release when the button behind it was pressed, but the problem is when I bought it the seller has glued the cockpit permanently, but this is a feature that I do not really care.

Alpha Wing Underside, i can't understand why they put a silver wheel

Next is the Beta Wing, this weird looking silver blue jet is also mostly metal.  Upper part is metal, lower parts is hard plastic.  The jet has a feature of ejecting the bombs from under the body by pushing the 4 buttons on the top of the jet.  Aside from bombs (4 pieces) there are also options to replace them with 2 pairs of weapon (kind of a beam weapon).  The picture is showing the jet carrying the beam gun.

Beta Wing front view, i just can not imagine how this thing can fly
The last is the Gamma Wing, a more weird looking jet, just consists of giant booster as the main body.  The metal parts is the rear fuselage, cockpit and the inner frame for the body, the rest is hard plastic with the wings made of soft plastic.  There are no features aside from moving wings.

Gamma Wing underside, more silver wheel :)

Finally, the main gimmick is the combination, Guts Eagle.  Line them up; split the vertical stabilizers of Alpha Wing, attach the Beta Wing (no changes to do with Beta Wing) to the back of Alpha Wing, then take Gamma Wing, pull the cockpit above the nose and slide the nose under the Beta Wing while the cockpit goes above the Beta Wing, and the combination is finished.

Once combined, is became a massive jet, and heavy.  The metal content was adequate. Features are limited.  The main problem here again is the landing gears, all three of them has permanently molded landing gears, so you can always see them hanging under the fuselage. And when you combine them, all of them can be seen clearly.  But then again with nice paint job and color, this jet is still a sight to behold.  Still they should have used black for the wheels, is it made of metal in the show? as i know all rubber wheel normally is black.
