SD Archangel from Gundam Seed

Okay, I am lazy now, so I just gonna do a very quick and very simple review.  This is from a Gundam Seed series, The Archangel.

LOTR : Legolas Twin Elven Dagger Review

The Hobbit movies hype is now striking me.  Even when I haven’t seen the movie, it has already awakened my interest in the Middle Earth Saga, or as most people know as Lord Of the Rings.  Actually, Lord Of The Ring is only a 3 book part from more than 15 books series I the Middle Earth history, and it is located at the very last of the history, or as the last books.  The Hobbit itself is located as the prequel for the Lord of the Ring.  So the story developed on how Bilbo Baggin managed to get the ring and why Dwarf and Elf has their grudges against each other.

Front Mission : Grilezex

For this review, we will take a break from the Yamato and military and get more into my other collection.  Though not entirely off from the military theme, since in the game this figure is heavily used by military.  The figure in general is called Wanzer.  Wanzer means Walking Panzers and made famous from the game Front Mission.  The figures from Front Mission are not much but since it was released a long time ago, it was quite difficult to find, at least here in Indonesia.

Now this figure is from the game Front Mission 3 made by Square Enix, a wanzer named Grilezex.  This figure itself has been in my wish list for at least 10 years. And this is one of my latest acquisitions; a friend of mine bought this for me in his visit to Singapore and in a quite reasonable price.

Takara Yamato : Part 3 : Initial Design Version

Alright, after finishing the sectioned part (click here), we get to the final part for the Initial Version. When all 7 sections is combined you get the complete Yamato in the configuration right after it finished the commissioning and enter service.

In this initial design version, we can clearly see the unique outline of The Yamato class battleship.  Both Yamato and Musashi has the same design, and if not mistaken, the difference only in the bridge area where Musashi’s bridge was specifically design as a flag ship.

Takara Yamato : Part 2 : Initial Version Sectioned

Continuing the Takara Micro World Yamato, we get to the details; it is the IJN Yamato Initial version.  This is the Yamato coming out fresh from the factory.  The Yamato itself is a semi-finished model kit.  Only a little assembly needs to be done and they are ready for display.  Every section comes with a display stand.  But be very careful, once the stand is inserted to the ship section it almost cannot be separated anymore.  Well it actually can with 80% probability of breaking the stand.

Alright, let’s get on with the details.  I will not say too much but I will let more of the pictures do the explanation.

Takara Yamato : Part 1, The Cross Sectional Series

Alright, after several tanks review, let start off with something different now, but still is in the military scope.  The review will be about Takara 1/700 IJN Yamato the Cross Sectional series from their Micro World series.  Basically this is a pre painted semi model kit.  The Yamato itself was divided into section of 7 ship parts which you can display in separated pieces or combined to form the Yamato.

The Infantrymen

During my reviewing of the FOV tanks, I got a new interest of taking pictures of the infantrymen included in the tanks or those I have from different purchase.  So here I share a view pic, though may be some already appear in the previous review.
Pardon my photography skill; it still needs a lot of improvement.  I still haven’t yet set up a mini studio, so the background is still a mess.  So check it out below…

Forces of Valor Challenger 2

The next in the lineup is the Forces OF Valor 1/32 Challenger 2.  It is the version used in Basra 2003 in the invasion of Iraq.  I got this also more than 6 years ago and just open it up recently.  I prefer the looks of this Challenger than Abrams since it has more rounded look and futuristic look.  On the box, it is written Enthusiast Edition, which after I read in the web means that this is a limited edition item.

Forces of Valor : Liberation of Kuwait

Alright for the next review is still from Forces of Valor.  This time it is The Liberation of Kuwait diorama with M1A1 Abrams tank.  I got the diorama set recently and the tank itself has been in my warehouse for 6 years until it meets fresh air.  Since I kept the box in my warehouse both I have not taken pic of it, may be later on.

Forces Of Valor 1/32 M26 Pershing

Today’s review will take from one of my earliest collections.  I got this online in a loose condition but surprisingly all the condition and accessories exceed my expectation. A perfect one.  Only the box is missing.  So the target review for today is 1/32 M26 Pershing from Forces of Valor (FOV).

Bandai DX Thunderbird 2

This time the review will be out of the ultraman line.  But still is a futuristic vehicle that I love.  It is the Bandai Thunderbird the Movie, DX Thunderbird 2.  I love Thunderbird TV series from a long time ago when I watched it accidentally in the TV.  Even with the weird puppet as their actors, but the vehicle design really excite me and my craving for the toys begun.  It was at least 20 years later that I got 1 (one is enough) from the local toys Fair, in a loose condition, but still in a great condition for the toys and the price was good.  The toys is DX Thunderbird 2 (my favorite of all the vehicles) made by Bandai for the Thunderbird Live Action Movie.  Since this is from the Live Action Movie, means that the design is different from the Series.  But for me it doesn’t matter.  Most important is Thunderbirds are go.

Bandai Ultraman Max Dash Machine 1

My other collectibles in the review is the Ultraman Max, Dash Machine no 1.  I haven’t watched the show yet, so I do not know the nick name of the jet.  I got this jet online from a seller.  The item itself is still in good condition, but the outer box is damaged.  Anyway, I do not really care for the box so I get it anyway.

This series of vehicle has new design, the jet was made sleeker and I think more fly-able then the previously futuristic jet.  The color was very bright and has a lot of color combination.  Anyway, let’s start it with the review.

Bandai Ultraman Dyna Guts Eagle

Alright, still in Ultraman Vehicle timeline, next are the jets from Ultraman Dyna, called Guts Eagle.  Guts Eagle basically consists of three jets, Alpha Wing, Beta Wing and Gamma Wing.

Guts Eagle

I bought these jets online and in a loose condition, no box available, so, what I show you here is what I got.

Bandai Ultraman Gaia Peace Carrier DX

Next up is the Bandai Peace Carrier DX from Ultraman Gaia.  My interest in Ultraman vehicle has been going on for years.  After my first buy, the Guts Wing 2, this is the second Ultraman Vehicle I bought.  The time span was around 10 years before I finally bought again.

Bandai Ultraman Tiga Guts Wing 2

This is my first attempt in trying to review toys.  You will see that everything in my collections might look weird.  Well, my taste for toys may be different from others.  I bought and keep those toys that I only like, sometimes without caring whether it is for toddlers, kids or adults.  If I like it, then I buy it. J So you might see a lot of different lines and types of toys in my collection reviews.
